Wendy Federer’s first personal experience with non-traditional real estate investing was in the mid- seventies. As a single mom, Wendy purchased her first home utilizing an alternative-financing option that AlleWest-Eugene still offers its clients today.

When Wendy realized she had the ability to help other women and young families purchase their first homes in the same manner she did, her entrepreneurial instincts kicked-in: Wendy developed a straight-forward business plan which detailed the investment strategies that would become instrumental in her structuring many successful rent-to-own scenarios for others.

Over the years, Wendy continued to enjoy great success as a real estate investor, working in various aspects of the real estate market to better understand the needs of buyers, sellers, investors and realtors alike. And while she enjoyed many positive outcomes with honest investors, she also encountered her fair share of individuals lacking basic integrity, to say the least.

However, Wendy concedes that falling victim to unscrupulous characters in her early years as a real estate professional had the greatest influence over how she chose to professionally conduct herself throughout the years, including how AlleWest-Eugene’s day-to-day business operates to this day.

“No matter what, it has been and will always be my goal to ensure that both my buyers’ and sellers’ needs are met, and both parties are protected in every aspect of the transaction,” Wendy explains. “If AlleWest-Eugene’s rent-to-own scenarios don’t meet these criteria, I still have some work to do. At the close of the deal, everyone will leave the table happy.”
