While Mike works diligently to help buyers find the perfect home within his existing inventory of available properties, Chai will focus his efforts on securing potential buyers’ future mortgages.

I began my real estate investment career in 2003; ‘quick selling’ or ‘flipping’ wholesale properties to other investors to rehab. While this was a great introduction to a segment of the real estate industry, my true desire was to build a business based on the Lease Option model. I wanted to leave the fixer-uppers behind and help families find homes in the ‘pretty’ and newer house markets.

I consider myself a successful real estate investor based on the number of families that I have helped achieve the American dream of home ownership. However, my continued success is predicated on my curiosity and willingness to explore new ways to secure home ownership for families in today’s ever-changing real estate market.

The “Lease Option,” better known in some places as the “Rent to Own” method, is bar-none the best way for people who are very close to qualifying for a mortgage but need some additional time to clear up credit issues. I cannot tell you how satisfying it is for me to show families a number of houses that meet both their needs and expectations, and then share in their excitement when I tell them all the properties are immediately available to them as Rent-to-Own properties.

As I was born in Des Moines, I am familiar with the city, the surrounding suburbs, and the unique assets each offers to prospective buyers and sellers.
